Spa Chemical Maintenance Suggestions

At All Valley, we recommend using Leisure Time chemicals. They are made exceptionally well and actually work! The cheap stuff that a few of our customers have purchased at Walmart or somewhere else have NOT worked well, and except for Chlorine (which can be bought anywhere - it's all the same), we highly encourage you to purchase Leisure Time chemicals by name.

Here are some other chemicals you can use...

Spa Defender: Prevents Scale Formation, and is recommended to be used 2x per week. (Do not mix within 24 hours with Bright & Clear)

Renew: This is a non-chlorine shock, which clears water, eliminates odors and contaminates, and 'shocks' old chemicals to life! Recommended every 2 weeks.

Bright & Clear: Neutralizes and removes particles for clear, clean spa water, and is recommended to be used 2x per week. (Do not mix within 24 hours with Spa Defender)

Bromine: A Chrlorine alternative, and you must use Renew with Bromine.

Chrlorine: A great, all-around sanitizer that does not require a non-chlorine shock chemical.

Metal Gone: Prevents iron and other metal buildup, and is recommended to be poured into your spa when you replace the spa water.

Fast Gloss: Protects , waterproofs & seals spa finish to prevent fading and oxidation. Recommended for every time you replace spa water. Can also be used on your spa cover!

Spa Up: Raises the Ph Balance & Total Alkalinity on your spa.

Spa Down: Lowers the Ph Balance & Total Alkalinity on your spa.

Foam Down: Concentrated foam suppressent designed for hot water applications. Can be used in a sprayer bottle (mixed 50/50 with water) for immediate results.

Test Strips: Tests the spa water for everything! (Note: If you have an Ozone, you have to use Ozone-specific test strips. If you're using a Nature II cartridge, then you may not need these!

Sodium Bromide: Establishes a Bromide reserve when using Bromine. Recommended every 2 weeks.

Enzyme: Naturally removes oils, lotions and fragrances from your spa water.

Insparation Fragrances: Leaves skin soft and moisturized, and will not hard your skin.
